France and the French love to celebrate and almost every town and every local delicacy will have its own festival celebration.

Often there are opportunities to sample the fare, or at least learn more about how it is made or grown or cutivated or used.

Local traditions (some more historically accurate than others) are important and visitors are welcome. Music, dancing and parades will often support the main event which will engage the whole town and provide colour and excitement for all.
